This handmade vase has been made with five layers of hand cut red and black glass arranged into a stripe pattern. It was fused into a solid block before going back into the kiln to drop through a ceramic ring under a watchful eye, ensuring it achieved a flat surface on which to stand. The excess glass was then cut off and the rim was coldworked to an even surface. This final process resulted in a few superficial chips (as pictured) and as such, the price has been lowered to reflect this. It is a beautiful unique vase perfect not only for flowers, but also makeup brushes or even a pen pot for your home office. It stands approx 10.5 cm tall and the opening is 6.5cm wide.
