Adult sized beanie made from premium quality merino wool and hand knitted by myself. The extra-fine fibres in this yarn make it very soft and without the itchiness that a lot of wool yarns have. Being a natural fibre, it will keep you warm and cosy, but it's also thermo-regulating, so you won't overheat. The colour is called Belgian Chocolate and it contains subtle changes in shade throughout the yarn, creating a unique effect. The variations in colour in the hand-dyed yarns add richness and highlights to the hat. Every skein of yarn comes out slightly differently, and added to the individuality of hand knitting, there won't be another hat exactly like yours. Please be aware that all screens are different and there my be some variations in colour with the actual product. The rich texture of this pattern shows the yarn off to its full advantage and makes the knitted fabric extra cosy. The swirling design carries on right up through the crown, creating a beautiful star effect. The beanie comes complete with a good quality Caramel coloured faux fur pom. Or there is a slightly cheaper version without a pom if you prefer. Merino wool is odour-resistant, so it doesn't need washing as much as other yarns.
