This lovely box was handmade in my workshop in Essex. Oak sides, with mitred corners decorated with walnut splines. The cut of oak has a beautiful grain where sapwood meets heartwood, and was selected especially to give this box a unique beauty. The lid was lovingly constructed from a mixture of 2 kinds of oak, sapele, walnut, and ash to give a striking argyle style pattern. This is a truly unique item which would make a wonderful.l gift or keepsake for the any home.
