28 years ago I started making my little wire bicycles. I had lived in Spain for a short period and whilst I was there I saw a man making a wire bicycle. I'm not sure if it was his calm demure or the peaceful atmosphere around him but somehow that moment never left my mind and I just had to try making a wire bicycle. Three months later I was in a garden centre and saw lot of wire hanging up on the shelf, so I bought a reel and of course a pair of pliers. I spent six months perfecting my design ( I mean you can't go wrong really) until I was happy enough to start pottering around in my local pub where I made a bicycle for the barmaid. She thought it was lovely and I got a free pint. From there on I just kept making them. I have been selling online since 2013 and my bikes have been displayed and sold in art galleries.
