I took up crafting during the first lockdown in 2020. Then in November 2020 I decided I wanted to have a go at sewing, and bought myself a basic sewing machine. Using a machine was something I had not done for over 30 years. I set myself up in our spare bedroom and started making small gift items and really enjoyed it. In early 2021 I decided to upgrade my machine and now thoroughly enjoy myself. I have also discovered audio books so I spend a lot of time (probably more than I should) in our spare bedroom, audio book playing and sewing away. At the beginning of this year I decided I wanted to have a go at making soft toys. I did a lot of research into what was needed to make them safe to sell for children. I found compliant fabrics, filling, threads etc and went through the testing process, which they passed, and started to make and The Huggies were born.
