Have always enjoyed making things, from daughters dance costumes, to upholstery, pottery, stained glass, but lately have fun with a crochet hook & multi coloured wools. I make crochet toys & Christmas decorations, but my latest idea to counteract heating prices, is Lapmats. Whilst long distance driving on a cold night, I lay a crochet baby blanket across my lap, which kept me cosy without have heating on & making drowsy. I think a blanket is too large & could incumber ones driving, so therefore designed my LapMat. It worked too. I thought of Laprug, but didn't rhyme!! Many are planned colour wise, but many are random. I am also learning Patchwork. I try not to overprice my articles, but make enough to replenish materials. I will be adding more of my collection of Lapmats now I have had lesson from Dave, & hope I've got it right.
